Goal of call: first meeting with team lead and brainstorm workflows and ideas while we wait for the game to be published

Tools: CAT tools like MemoQ and SDL Trados were discarded due to the lack of proficiency and to reduce the stress for the team. The idea is to have the team members working with a shared file, so it has been decided to use Google Docs as a text editor due to its flexibility.

Once the game was announced and we found out that the translatable files are in .lua format, we realized that there is the risk that during translation/editing/LQA untranslatable portions of the file are modified by the team if the file is provided as-is for translation.

For the time being, we will proceed with the plan of using Google Docs as text editor, but we will implement some measures on the editing/QA side to reduce the chances of missing/broken text.

Workflow: team members will work with a shared Gsheet that has different tabs: Translation, Glossary, Characterization, Info and Tasks.

Team will work offline and meet at least once a day to discuss problems, blockers, etc.

After the call ended, team lead spent some time exploring the upload feature from Itch.io and did some tests with a couple of strings already translated.

The instructions provided in the loc kit don't clarify how to make the localized version run, so this will be discussed in the next call.
